Canton residents are bracing themselves for the imminent closure of Pactiv Evergreen Paper Mill and groups are rallying resources to assist those affected. Champion Credit Union announced they will put $150,000 towards helping displaced workers; in addition, they welcome any donations of any amount.

Champion Credit Union is raising money to assist workers displaced when the Pactiv Evergreen paper mill closes, as it will contribute $150,000 to a relief fund that will be made available to all members.
